Molly was rescued by the Dalmatian Rescue of South West Virginia with the assistance of the Virginia SPCA and provided for adoption.
Currently, Molly is a Fire and Life Safety Education Dog. Molly works with her trainer to teach fire safety to children, families. Molly has learned many of the behaviors children must know to survive a fire and helps to demonstrate them in classrooms and at community events. When Molly is not working as a Fire Education Dog, she volunteers in her community as a pet therapy dog visiting patients at the local hospital, local schools for a children’s reading program and our local library for a sensory sensitive story time for children on the autism spectrum.
Molly has been working in the community for six years to help save lives through education and we are grateful for all the support we receive in our community!
