Pet Rabbits: Furry Friends Forever
Thinking about getting a pet rabbit? These loveable hopping creatures are a joy to behold. They are super friendly which makes them a perfect pet for children. They have a long lifespan hence making them an ideal household companion. If you are considering having rabbits as pets, you may want to consider these helpful tips before bringing your furry friend home!
Rabbits are vegetarian
Unlike our other furry pets, rabbits only eat veggies. So if you’re trying to make your little ones fond of the greens, let them share their meal with their adorable pet.
Rabbits do require a little bit of grooming now and then. After all they are known for their woolly-ness! Like cats and dogs, they might need an occasional brushing up to keep their fleece in its smooth and supple condition!
Rabbits can be trained
While a rabbit’s known for their sweet and docile nature, they make intelligent pets too. With a little training you can litter train your rabbit and not worry about unwanted droppings around the house.
Rabbits are known for their super cute walk, so make sure you have plenty of room in the house where they can exercise their favourite hobby.
A little caution if you’re getting a pair
You may want to exercise caution when buying rabbits in pairs. We have all heard the saying about rabbits breed and it is 100% true. Which is why you may either want to get two female rabbits or two male rabbits. But if you are getting a couple with different gender, you should consider getting them neutered!
Rabbits not only make as loving creatures but they are most social companions you can find. With their charming nature they will add to warmth of a household and become your children’s best friends.
